The college team visited heera mil slum, maksi road ujjain and conducted cloth and book donation campaign there.

Also the child abuse and women empowerement street play was organised there.

Task ML10

Traffic safety campaign was conducted at kendriya vidhyalaya ujjain.

Under the guidance of Mr. R R Misra (head constable ujjain traffic police) the event took place nicely.

The road safety guidelines and license Registration procedure were given to students.

Task CE 03

The rti awareness campaign took place in our college's seminar hall.
More than 100 students took part in it.
Bibhav dwivedi sir with the help of a presentation enlightened the students about rti.

Our senior Dheeraj sir, who is very much involved in political affairs and is a member of RSS.

We all had started making posters.for a good reach, we took help of all our college students to design the posters.

The campaign started by gathering a few students in college's space which then turned into a good crowd, everyone interestingly watched our campaign.

At the same time we completed the child abuse campaign and organ donation campaign HS03

Task HS 10

with around 25-26 volunteers, the cycle rally started from the college.
 The rally had started with loud slogans in favor of anti smoking.

It all continued to Nanakheda bus stand,ujjain.
covering around 2-3 kilometers,we passed by the gumtis and wine shops where the groups of people practiced smoking.

It is 28/9/2013.

college visit of students of a govt school.

The day started with a new energy within us. The students(13)were from "KENDRIYA VIDHYALAYA UJJAIN".
By the time the students had reached the college with excited & glowing faces.

The permissions were granted.
The students with their supporting staff were welcomed.
The team was ready , hoped everything went right.

First of all we introduced the students to the college's history and the jewels it produced every year.
The students were first attracted by the MIG-21 Aircraft that had been glorifying our college campus since years.

The students were now taken to the chemical department and labs.
Ujjain engineering college's chemical department is one of the best departments of chemical that existed in this country.
Mass transfer lab was most enjoyed by the students. They all were energized after seeing the new technologies that existed here.

The "Cheso kunj" our chemical department's dedicated garden.

Students were taken to mechanical, civil, electronic , electrical and computer departments.

At last we thanked them all for their support and for the precious time they sent with us.

The Booster Task 1 ie I smoke

As soon as we got the information about  booster task and its timeline, we began to plan a strategy with which we had to perform the task effectively in no time.
Our team was now divided into several groups to cover more people in less time..

The next few days were very hectic as the classes were also to be attended. 
Our main focus was set on the youth which had to be resisted to start smoking. 

The doodle preparation started and ended till 25th sept 9:00 pm.

  

The Task HS 02

                               Generic Drugs or Generics

generics are low cost drugs which are patented but the active ingredient in it may be patented or may not.

these medicines functions same as the branded ones and with same efficiency.

for the report work,we interviewed several chemists and govt hospitals.

according to them people are not much aware about these medicines and do not trust their efficiency.

The awareness was a big issue.

The campaign has now started 

           The walls of classroom were  now full of posters speaking about generics and their cost comparisons with the branded medicines which we normally use. The whole institute began talking about the generics and their  accessibility.

where are they available? 

we were now on city roads searching generics from the pharma stores.

This was much difficult than the thoughts we had regarding their accessibility.
not a single pharma store had it.
days passed and we were now
                                                         tired of the hunt.
by the time we had gained much about generics.continuous 5 days of searching led us to one and only place where generics were available.

Ujjain Engineering College, Ujjain formerly known as Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain is an object of pride for technical education of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1966 by Govt. of M.P.
with a view to expand and improve the technical education in the state. 

Qualified engineering graduates may thus be produced who could bear the responsibility of providing impetus to growing industrialization of the country. Initially there were only three branches of engineering i.e. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Later on Electronics Engineering (1985) and Chemical Engineering (1986) branches were introduced. From Session 2001-2002 B.E. Computer Science and Engineering course has also been started.The college was declared autonomous by the state Govt. of M.P. in the year 1997. Under this arrangement it is governed by a Governing Body, whose Chairman is Minister of Man Power PlanningDepartment of Govt. of M.P. and Secretary is Principal, Engineering College, Ujjain. This college has produced quality graduate engineers in different branches of engineering who have been absorbed in almost all the major public sectors and private sectors industries of the country. The feedback confirms the excellent track record of high-class performance of the students in different organizations. Many ofits alumni are rendering their services to countries like USA, UK, Canada, France, Australia etc. TheAll India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi has recognized this college sincebeginning as a recognized engineering college with full participation in all the activities of AICTE.The college aims to provide not just academic excellence but also to impart holistic education for complete developments of students.
